Open Call for UNFCCC COP 21 Delegates


Are you interested in learning the policy making process? Have a great desire to be able to make change in international level? Then it's your time! Voice out the ideas in your head and be a part of IFSA delegation in UNFCCC COP 21!

What is UNFCCC?

The United Nations Framework on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is an international environmental treaty negotiated at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED), informally known as the Earth Summit, held in Rio de Janeiro from 3 to 14 June 1992. The objective of the treaty is to "stabilize greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere at a level that would prevent dangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate system".

When will it be held?

30 November - 11 December 2015

Where will the conference take place?

Paris, France

With whom you'll be meeting during conference?

Other youth from all over the world, governments, NGOs, scientists, indigenous people and other important people from all over the world.

Why should you join?

1. Because you're YOUTH! The ones who will inherit our future. It'll be important for you to learn directlt about the UNFCCC and the process within.

2. Because Indonesia ratified the Protocol! Means that our country will be affected by the decisions which are made during conference. This is your chance as Indonesia future leader to learn about what happens in the higher level to identify things in local level then make the problem solving out of it.

How to participate in the conference?

You have to be selected through series of selection by the LC's committee.

How to join the selection?

Submit your CV (no more than 2 pages) and Motivation Letter (no more than 250 words) before April 25th 2015 to ifsa.ugm@gmail.com. Details about selection is provided in the poster!
