“English Quest: Learn, Play, and Grow Together”

On Thursday, the 20^th of March 2025, the Language Commission held the English Club Project with the theme "English Quest: Learn, Play, and Grow Together". The purpose of this English club is to introduce English to the kids in Tempat Pengajian Anak Masjid Baiturrahman Popongan, Sleman, DIY, and hopefully the kids are interested to learn more about english. To reach that, we present English Club in a fun ways, we learn together with no pressure and full of joy, there is also a game quiz to increase the enthusiasm of the kids.   

This English Club contains three main sessions.  The first one is the singing session, there are three songs that we sang together. The first song is greeting’s song, the second is ABC’s and the third is islamic song theme. After the singing session we move on to the second session. In this session, the kids are divided into three groups and there are six Co-Fassilitator that will learn together with the kids. The six Co-Fassilitators are also divided by three, so there are two Co-Facilitators in each group of kids. There are three learning materials presented by the Co-Fassilitators, manners, fruits and colors, and numbers. Each group is given 12 minutes to learn and decorate the manila paper that is also given to them with the learning materials that they received earlier. After 12 minutes, the Co-Fassilitators are moving to different groups to learn together with the other kids,so all of the three groups get all of the learning materials. Move on to the last session, in this session there is a game quiz, there will be a power point that contains questions, who can answer the question the fastest, gets a prize. See you in the next English Club, can’t wait to see you!!
