It was more fascinating to have another presentation session conveyed by one of the former delegates, Clara Citra Arundati. She was a delegate for the 51st International Forestry Students’ Symposium (IFSS) 2023 held in Germany and the United Nations World Food Forum 2024 in Rome, Italy. Through the session, she shared her journey including how she got into the delegation, the sessions, and the key takeaways. This session was very engaging as most members were expecting to experience delegations after they join IFSA LC UGM. The session was then followed by a comprehensive sharing session with alumni held hybrid via Google Meeting, featuring Rizka Afif, President in year 2022 that had numerous organizational and job experiences, he shared his journey from IFSA LC UGM to the world to motivate new members in building their career from tiny steps.

The second day of I-Square was also called Class of IFSA. On this day, members would mainly learn about the technical work system consisting of regulations and guidelines in IFSA LC UGM. The first presentation was conveyed by the President about work ethic in IFSA LC UGM. It helped to set expectations on how the organization’s work environment professionally. After that, the Secretary and Treasurer presented secretarial and financial regulations to prepare new members to manage proposals, reports, budgets, and documents correctly. It was also aimed to emphasize the sense of professionalism, discipline and responsibility.

I-Square day 2 was concluded with an insightful presentation on design and caption regulation by the Head of Media and Communication Commission and Head of Language Commission. This session was aimed to ensure that every commission produces content and captions that follow the organization style, no need for constant corrections, and be approved by correct persons. The combination of strong design standards and proper captioning shows the organization’s professionalism.
