The International Forestry Students’ Association Local Committee  Universitas Gadjah Mada (IFSA LC UGM) proudly presents WORKSHOP 2025– "Find Your Forest Flow : Mapping Out Your Dream Career With LinkedIn" on Wednesday, 30 April 2025. This event was organized through a collaboration between The Human Resource Development Commission of IFSA LC UGM and Career Development Center (CDC) Forestry, with the objective of broadening forestry students’ understanding of the professional world, while also supporting the development of their CVs and professional networks. This event was attended by 150 participants from the Faculty of Forestry students and ran smoothly.

        The sharing session of the workshop featured two inspiring speakers: Nindi Mabruri Asnan, S.I.P., M.A., in the first session and Dr. Dian Nurputra K., M.Sc., Ph.D., Sp.A., in the second session,  on behalf of the UGM Digital Transformation Bureau. In the first session, Mr. Nindi delivered an insightful presentation on the importance of networking, career development, and personal growth. He also shared relevant data about the current era and discussed methods for building professional relationships by maximizing digital platforms.

       In the second session, Dr. Dian Nurputra K., M.Sc., Ph.D., Sp.A. presented the importance of crafting a strong CV and utilizing LinkedIn as a professional tool. This session also included a practical segment where participants were guided on how to create a well-structured CV and establish a strong professional presence on LinkedIn. In addition to sharing helpful tips and strategies, both speakers highlighted the crucial role of personal branding in today’s competitive job market. Participants also had the opportunity to engage in one-on-one consultations with the speakers, where they received personalized feedback on their LinkedIn profiles and overall professional development.

        The Q&A session during the workshop served as an interactive platform for participants to engage directly with the speakers. Guided by the MC, participants were encouraged to ask questions related to the topics discussed in both sessions. Each question was addressed thoughtfully and in a timely manner by the speakers, creating a dynamic and insightful exchange of ideas. This session not only clarified participants’ doubts but also deepened their understanding of career preparation and professional development. As a form of appreciation, a special prize was awarded to the most active participant during the session, further encouraging engagement and enthusiasm throughout the event.

      The event concluded with a token of appreciation presented to the speakers in the form of a commemorative plaque. The handover was conducted by the Project Officer and representatives from the CDC Forestry team as a gesture of gratitude for the speakers’ valuable contributions throughout the workshop. This moment symbolized the organizers’ sincere appreciation for the time, knowledge, and insights shared by the speakers, which significantly enriched the participants’ learning experience and understanding of professional development in the forestry sector.

    The final session concluded with a group photo featuring the speakers, participants, and organizing committees. This photo captured the spirit of collaboration and togetherness that defined the workshop. It represents the successful completion of the event and reflects the enthusiasm and positive engagement of everyone involved. The moment serves as a memorable conclusion, celebrating the shared commitment to enhancing knowledge and fostering professional growth within the forestry student community.

      We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Faculty of Forestry, CDC Forestry, IFSA LC UGM, all the organizing committee members of the workshop, and all participants who contributed to and supported the success of this event. We want to thank the BODs for all their support, timely responses, and the opportunity given. To the Head of Commission, thank you for your leadership and guidance throughout the event. To the MC, your energy and enthusiasm created a lively atmosphere. A big thank you to the secretary and treasurer for handling all the administrative work, and to the equipment, consumption, and DDD teams for ensuring everything ran smoothly. Finally,  thank you  to all participants for their engagement and contributions to the event’s success.
