Yogyakarta, 2025 – Medco In Charge (MIC) stands as one of the programs of the Media and Communication Commission (Medco) of IFSA LC UGM, dedicated to producing creative, informative, and timely content. Under the theme “IFSAFlash: Snap Fast, Share Smart,” MIC embodies agility and strategy, capturing important moments quickly while delivering impactful messages through well crafted content.
MIC plays a crucial role in fulfilling content production requests from the Head of Commissions (HoC), Board of Directors (BoD), and other IFSA LC UGM members. Beyond this, MIC also takes the initiative to create trend-based content. The team produces a wide variety of materials from Instagram feeds, reels, and posters to engaging video projects all tailored to organizational needs and current trends.
Some of the signature monthly contents consistently featured on @ifsalcugm include:
Member of the Month and Person of the Month which spotlight inspirational figures and outstanding initiatives within IFSA LC UGM.
Delegation Posters, highlighting members’ participation in international events such as UNCBD (Thailand), RAYS (Malaysia), APRM (South Korea), and many more. These posts have successfully captured audience attention, gaining over 60 likes on average, with some reaching up to 100 likes and a few comments that show genuine engagement from followers.
In April, MIC also released a reels content featuring casual conversations with IFSA members about their mid-term exams experiences. The video received an enthusiastic response, gaining around 175 likes and 5 comments, showing that light, relatable content continues to resonate well with the audience.
KKN Diaries of IFSA (May), a storytelling series capturing members’ experiences during community service programs, received an excellent response with 81 likes, 10 comments, and 17 shares, reflecting how well the audience connected with the personal and inspiring stories shared.
Reward Bites (June), a light-hearted content series recommending comfort foods as a self-reward after mid-term exams, also gained positive engagement with 51 likes, showing that simple and relatable content still resonates with IFSA LC UGM’s audience.
In September, MIC produced a reflective content titled “The Value of Joining IFSA,” emphasizing the message “If I hadn’t joined IFSA, I would’ve never known that…” This heartfelt post received 109 likes, showing how strongly members and followers connected with the personal value and growth IFSA brings.
A Special Appreciation Post (September), celebrating Kak Nilo’s remarkable achievement as the newly elected President of IFSA Global, became one of MIC’s most successful posts to date. It garnered an outstanding 692 likes, 47 comments, and 15 shares, marking the highest engagement among all MIC contents and reflecting the strong pride and support from the IFSA LC UGM community.

Through teamwork, creativity, and fast execution, Medco In Charge has become more than just a content production team. It serves as the driving force of IFSA LC UGM’s communication, shaping its image as a dynamic, professional, and forward-thinking student organization in the forestry sector.
Thanks to their teamwork, creativity, and swift execution, Medco In Charge has grown beyond just a content production team. They serve as the communications driver for IFSA LC UGM, shaping its image as a dynamic, professional student organization. I hope MIC will continue to produce engaging content in the future. For the upcoming periods, it’s recommended that MIC sets clear monthly content targets, specifying the number and type of content to be produced each month. Additionally, assigning a Person in Charge (PIC) for each planned content early on will help ensure that all materials are well-prepared and published on time. This structured approach will not only improve consistency but also maintain MIC’s reputation for timely and high-quality content delivery.
