“Grill & Gather: IFSA Ramadan Celebration”

The International Forestry Students’ Association Local Committee  Universitas Gadjah Mada (IFSA LC UGM) proudly presents IFSA TIME #1 – "Grill & Gather: IFSA Ramadhan Celebration" on March 22, 2025. This event was designed as a special gathering to celebrate the spirit of togetherness during the holy month of Ramadhan. With various fun activities, a delightful Grill Session, an intimate Iftar Gathering, and moments of bonding.

The event began with a warm opening by the Masters of Ceremony (MCs) who welcomed all attendees with enthusiasm, setting an inviting atmosphere for the day. Following the opening remarks, the Project Officer delivered a heartfelt speech, expressing gratitude for the presence and support of all participants. The speech also highlighted the importance of building strong relationships and encouraging a sense of connection within the IFSA LC UGM members.

A major highlight of the evening was the "I Tell You, You Do" game, a dynamic and interactive activity designed to promote teamwork and laughter. In this game, participants listened to a narrated story containing specific keywords. Each time the MCs mentioned a keyword, participants needed to quickly form groups and act out or imitate the keyword within the number of people specified for each one. This added an exciting challenge that encouraged creativity and collaboration. The room was filled with laughter and energy as participants enthusiastically played along, making it a perfect icebreaker that embraced the strong connections and joyful memories.

After the fun-filled game session, the spirit of Ramadhan was truly embraced during the Iftar Gathering. As the call to prayer marked the breaking of the fast, attendees gathered to enjoy a delicious meal together. Conversations flowed naturally, and the warmth of shared stories created a sense of belonging. The moment was a beautiful reflection of the unity and mutual respect that defines the IFSA LC UGM community. The evening continued with a Grill Session for some participants, while others took part in a delightful potluck-style gathering. Everyone sat together in circles, sharing both hearty meals and light snacks they had brought. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and engaging conversations, as stories and jokes were exchanged. This communal experience reflected the spirit of Ramadhan, emphasizing generosity, connection, and shared joy.

Finally, to capture the memories of the day, a lively group photo session brought everyone together, marking the end of a truly memorable celebration. With great gratitude, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to all members for their support, participation, and outstanding contributions to make this event a success. We would also like to give out a special thanks to the IFSA LC UGM Board of Directors for their guidance throughout the event: Ferizta as the President, Fiyyah as the Vice President, Arnaya as the Secretary, and Aqila as the Treasurer. A heartfelt appreciation goes to the Head of Commission, Pasha, for leading the organizing committee from HRD. We also extend our gratitude to Ayusha as Secretary, Naya as Treasurer, and Juleo as Public Relations, Zulfikar, Dee, Rifa, and Ririn as Equipment, Celine and Mia as DDD, also Risa and Titah from as Event. Through every challenge and obstacle, and the results of this event are a reflection of our collective dedication and teamwork.

Thank you once again to everyone who made IFSA TIME #1 a success. We look forward to creating even more beautiful moments together at IFSA LC UGM.
